Take a look at your own behavior because people who are getting the results you are striving for are not offended. Let me use a very strong example. People who lie, cheat, or steal will get offended when people talk about lying, cheating or stealing, how dare someone talk to them like that!
Build your email list. You can always tell serious Internet marketers because they have a sign-up form to their newsletter above the fold where people can find it.
By the above thinking process we have done three things : Our target audience is decided. Our USP (Unique Selling Proposition) is decided, that they can work while they earn their degree. And third thing ‘Add On’ is, if they are looking for loan to study we can help them.
What I will do is not to send traffic to a sales page, but to an opt-in page (like the one in resource box). The reason is because I want to build a subscribers list. If I build a list, I can leverage the traffic my site gets and turn that traffic into repeat traffic. Which means I can turn 100 visitors into 300 or even 500 repeat visits, all because of the email marketing system I have.
At this point the voice transferred me to another wonderful voice that represented a group of Internet Marketing strategy Consultants. This voice asked me a series of questions. Some I refused to answered because it was just none of their business and others because I just did not want to answer them. This did not discourage the voice at all. In fact they were in full agreement with every objection I raised. The voice could not have been more of a friend.
Once you understand that people generally do not buy on the first visit you will get serious about building your list. This is especially true if you are selling products that are not an impulse buy.
Prospecting strangers isn’t worth the hassle (time, energy, sweat, blood, tears and not to mention the headaches). Prospecting these types of people for your business Will take a lot out of you. (Just thinking about it, makes me cringe). Facing rejection from the wrong kinds of people is one of the main “killers” for many new home business owners. Don’t let it happen to you, or anyone in your organization. Don’t prospect strangers.
